About Westhaven Town Center

Westhaven Town Center is an integral part of the community. Its shops, restaurants, offices, proposed school and grocery, as well as numerous other businesses, will come together to form the commercial component of this 1,550-acre traditional neighborhood community in historic Franklin, Tennessee.

With nearly 275,000 square feet of commercial space and 160 residential units planned alongside an 11-acre lake, the Town Center will serve as an entertainment, shopping and day-to-day lifestyle center for residents of the Westhaven community and a gathering and shopping destination for people from the surrounding area. As time passes, the Town Center will become as familiar and welcoming as the secluded tree-lined streets that wind through the residential parts of the neighborhood.

The Town Center will offer a variety of retail and office opportunities, which combined with the residential units located on the upper levels of the Town Center buildings will create a 24-hour vibrancy that evokes a sense of tradition and small town charm for everyone who visits.

Westhaven Town Center will thrive on the character and timeless architectural design known in historic commerce districts, where open sidewalks, neighborhood-related shops and small office buildings foster a sense of community away from home. It is not only a district where people from within the Westhaven community will live, work and play together, but it is also a unique place that is designed as a regional center to provide services, shopping and entertainment venues for the rapidly growing population of the area.

Construction of the new Town Center is now underway. Southern Land Company anticipates the first buildings arriving for occupancy in the Spring of 2008.
